"George, try switching the three-terminal connector around at the switch. It might be on backwards.  If that doesn't  change the operation, send me an e-mail. I have a replacement switch. faresmcmthelix@msn.com."

"Thanks Charles, the switch might be going bad as I still need to use the emergency position while the ignition is on. Does anyone know where's a good place to get the wiring pigtails for these switches, or a new switch as well? See new pic…"

"In 1964, the power windows were designed to operate with the ignition on, or in accessory position.  They did not operate with the ignition off or locked. Beginning in 1964, the emergency-normal-lock switch was added, which permitted the driver…"

Hi all, first time poster. Great group, tons of info, thanks! I have a 64 Deville Convertible Sorry I know there's been some previous posts on power seats not working, but I'm not sure what this Blue wire from the seat frame is supposed to ground to, the mounting bracket? pls see picAlso, under the dash by the fuse box, I'm not sure what these two wires are supposed to connect to. pink one is just by itself, comes from the wire bundle going into the fuse box. Bad Guage?

So I am troubleshooting my fuel gauge issue. I bought a new sender and tested it. It  it goes from 1-ohm (empty) to 35-ohm (full). When I test it (outside the tank), when the float is in the up (full) position it only moves the gauge to about 1/2 full. When at the bottom (empty) position the gauge shows empty. This is the same issue I have when I fill and then use the gas in the tank - the gauge never reads ore than half full. Based on what I've read on this thread it would seem like the…
