"Look at the hinge pin, as it probably migrated out.  You will need to release the tension on the he by taking the opposite tension rod loose. There is a metal tab that holds the pin in place."

1964 Deville Trunk

I’ve had the car for a couple months now and when closing the trunk the passenger side hinge has always had a small bind but no major issues or struggle to shut. I attempted to close it yesterday and it wouldn’t latch and then I noticed it’s way out of alignment. The drivers side is touching the body and the passenger side is out about an inch out. The hinges don’t appear to be bent, no broken welds, no apparent scratches where something shifted. Any suggestions or previous problems?See More

"How did you mount them? After reading your post I ordered a set for my 64 DeVille and the headlight isn't believed on the back and doesn't fit into the besel. "

Upper A Arm Rubber Bumpers

Posted by Gene McIlroy on August 12, 2019 at 1:30pm 3 Comments

I have found a very good replacement part for the Upper A Arm Bumpers.  The top part is identical to the originals the bottom can be used as is or after a few minutes with a belt sander can be ground to the V shape as the originals were.  The replacement bumpers are for a 2001 to 2005 S10 Sanoma or Blazer.  Part number is on the box in the photos.  First photo is the box next to the box is the S10 part and an original.  Next photo shows my sanded down part next to an original.…
