Hood Hinges Aligning hood

Im attempting to align my hood and have noticed for a few years back that the drivers side hood pops up around the cowl area. In the past Ive done some aligning to bring it down but never quite got it flush.
I had a few friends helping me this weekend and noticed when the hood comes down that side hinge lags compared to the other side. They have both been well lubed, etc..
Does this sound like the hinge on that side is bad. I'm really tempted to replace just that side and…

Hello, Im wondering if someone can share the tips and tricks one uses in order to instal a leak free transmission oil pan gasket on my TH400?
I recently installed a rubber gasket and the car just sits (only ran it about 5 miles since) leaks considerably. I looked under the car and seems like its leaking from all sides of the oil pan gasket.
What type of seal is better Rubber, cork? do you guys use any RTV or silicon?

Hello,
I'm located in Melbourne, Australia and my 64 sedan de ville is stuck in the garage due to failed mechanical fuel pump. The first after market mechanical fuel pump lasted a few years before it failed & left me stranded 5 hours from home. A hire car and tow got us home. On inspection, I noticed a valve not seated within the housing. I was optimistic, pressed it into place and assumed the pump was good to go. But alas, no.
