So today I've connected my big trio - new battery, as old one was very weak, starter motor (professionally refurbished) & alternator (brand new, 75ApH.)

I've made new harness (from plug inside the engine bay to starter motor) as old one was horrible. Connecting alternator discovered this:

So the cable from battery "+" (1) suppose to be connected here. Red…

oil pan screws

Recently noticed that my Caddy is dripping oil. After every ride - some spillage on driveway. Today had a time to take a look at this and I've discovered that I don't have two screws on oil pan!

When I was lying under the car with legs towards the front end and head towards end of the car, missing ones is the one which is on the left from starter motor and one after - also on the left. Basically those are the closest to the gearbox. I've tried to put there new screws, but all I've got…

All right.

This project won't be easy as my Caddy is not only my first Caddy. It's my first US car, so this definitely will be a challenge. Any help will be more than welcome.

Bought it here, in Uk but it wasn't cherished. Not at all. It drives well and brakes well. Engine is sweet as nut but I have some oil leaks.

Currently trying to tydying up electric part as plenty thing are not working or are just messed up.

Started from replacing battery, remanufacturing…

1963 Eldorado convertible boot

Posted by Les Eastling on February 27, 2020 at 10:33am 1 Comment

I need a used convertible boot for a 63 Cadillac convertible - condition or color is not an issue since it will be used as a pattern for making a new one. One from either a 62 series convertible or an Eldorado would work. I know I am searching for hen's teeth here... but you never know unless you ask!
