So my fuel gauge was sticking, not moving very well and not reading full at full tank. I took the gauge out and starting cleaning the back of the needle where it attaches to the gauge and pivots. There was a viscous compound that I mistook as “gunk”, and I cleaned it real well. I reassembled everything and was satisfied with my handy-work when the gauge effortlessly shot up to full. How to tighten AC belt

The shop manual shows some odd tool (j-9646?) that I can't seem to figure out what it is, and I just cant get enough tension to keep the belt from squealing. Any tips or tricks?
I pulled up on the compressor with my hands while my wife tightened the bolt. Sort of works, but when its hot out the squealing gets worse.
Also, J-7316 belt tension gauge... Thanks

Stalling and comfort control

So I finally got my comfort control working. Everything seems to be working with actuators and stuff except for maybe the recirc actuator which acts funny. Anyway so at least four times now when I turn on the comfort control my car starts to stutter and then the other day on the street it totally stalled out. The strange thing is it stalled twice and then I couldn't get it started back up as if it was vapor locked. Any ideas? Vacuum? Coincidence? Maybe the carb is simply going bad and I just… Continue

Before I open up the dash, I want to have the necessary bulbs on hand.
Can someone help me determine what bulbs I need, the number of bulbs I need, and where to purchase them?
