"Yes, it's in Peoria. Price - give me a fair offer of what it's worth for someone who wants a 429 and trans for a rebuild. It ran and I drove it from Long Beach, CA to Flagstaff, AZ. Leaked a ton of oil. If memory serves it has an…"
Hi Russ! I would love to see you put a "Big Cad" into one of your '63-64 cars. While not for the meek and mild, the conversion is a definite improvement, keeps the car "all Cadillac" and eases the sourcing of parts when you are on vacation 500 miles from home and your fuel pump dies!
I have attached a link from the company where I bought the crate motor. Of course they published this years AFTER I did the job so mine was trial, error, cuss, cuss, cuss and then success!

I have turned off…
At long last I finally have power vent windows! I started collecting the parts 3 years ago. The one thing I could not find until recently is the 6 button driver's switch. Jason finally pulled one in and was more than generous with pricing. Thanks Jason! Installing the vent window motors was the easiest part of the project but many other tasks were spawned by this project.
There is a hole in the door panels where the window crank was. I considered putting a hub cap emblem there…
I need to pull my distributor, and still have the cork in the end of the crankshaft. What is the bolt size needed to thread a bolt in there to be able to turn the motor over with a pull handle and socket to get it to TDC exactly before I pull the distributor out?
