Confusion on Pertronix

Posted on December 20, 2015 at 12:00pm 8 Comments

I know there's been a lot of discussion on the Pertronix upgrade install and benefits, but I've never converted off of points and still have a few questions.

1) Jason and others have mentioned that the distributor does not have to come out if using Pertronix III. However, from the videos and other info I've found online, it seems no one removes the distributor when upgrading to any Pertronix conversion kit. Whether using the original Ignitor, the II, or the III, they just fit the…

Dash removal

Posted by Jake Mickley on October 9, 2019 at 12:06am 9 Comments

Hello everyone,

On a 63 CDV, if a guy wanted to remove the entire dash to get all the metal painted, and do some other things behind there, how would he go about doing that?  I checked here and the shop manual, but can't find a complete guide.

As always, and help or direction is appreciated.  Thanks!
