Fort Wayne Clutch and Driveline is the only place I've found that has them in stock. I just ordered a couple of them before they were gone.
The replacement parts for our double cardan CV joints seem to be obsolete and no longer being made. I am waiting on one company that says they have them in stock.

Here is a link to the spicer part. In order to replace the ball the old ball needs to be precisely machined down to a stub in order to accept the replacement ball.

This is a Buick website that lists CV joint ball repair kits. I hope this helps someone. Regards Clovis
I believe spicer makes makes a kit. I’m not sure what the part number is.
You may not find Cadillac CV balls while doing online searches for Cadillac specific ones but other GM models of the same era used them and they sell them for those cars. I would imagine they are identical. If you do a search for other GM models of that era with the same body length and X frame you will find them. I did a search a few years ago and found rebuild kits for the constant velocity joints.

I'm having my steering sector rebuilt, and considering changing it from 20-1 ratio 4.2 turns lock to lock to 3.5 turns lock to lock @ 16-1 ratio, If i change from a 3 1/4" box to a 3" box i could have a 14-1 Ratio steering response would be faster, shorter distance to turn the wheel to get a response, has anyone done this? and how do you like it? thank you

I've looked at the usual rubber sources but couldn't find any.

Hey guys, I need some help. Could someone send me some pictures on how the first hood release lever on a factory 1964 Cadillac is set up, where it comes though the grille. Not the secondary one. I need to know where the thumb or finger position is located through the grille. Is it above or below the center grille molding piece? Mine seems to be positioned behind the center molding piece and will not adjust above or below the molding. I have a wire tied to it to release it…
