Hello All,
My driver side front window keeps coming off the track. I have fixed it three times and it keeps bouncing out. Does anyone know of a permanent fix for this issue. Is this a common problem or just bad luck on my part.

It's a convertible. When I pull it apart I will see how tight it is.

Thanks Jason

Also is this a 4 door or 2 door body style? If a 2 door is it a hardtop or convertible.  I have plenty of the front lower sash channels for the 4 door body styles, and maybe one or two for the 2 door hard top and none for the convertible. The convertible's have the longest sash channels and probably would be the worst for working loose with the bit if extra length.

Is your front lower sash channel the glass sits in corroded or spread? Are you using new & correct sash channel seal. I've never seen or heard of a problem of them coming out. I know from removing them from 50 year old parts cars they are extremely tight unless the sash channel has become corroded.

My 1964 Cadillac electrical system is running around 17 volt which is to high, the alternator, battery and the voltage regulator was replaced but the voltage is still to high, could it be the pig tail that plugs into the voltage regulator.
