Hello,
I was a member sometime back when the format was different. I reproduce the door pull courtesy light lenses used in the '63 coupes. I sold a few to members back then and received a few requests for the rear lenses. I would like to start doing those now but need to get a pair of the lamp housings they fit into. If it is alright I would offer them for sale here. I try to sell them at a price that works for both me and the buyer. I am not trying to get rich, just make a few bucks and provide a nice finishing touch if someone is looking for it.
If any one has a set of housings, I am interested. They do not need to have good chrome as I just use them for fitting the lenses so a pitted pair would work just fine. It is also possible the the rears are interchangeable, unlike the fronts. If this is in fact the case I would only need one side.
Thanks, Ian

Russ,
I appreciate the offer but I already arranged to get one from Jason.
Thanks
For the 1963/1964 62/63 series rear courtesy light fixtures, I have probably 2 dozen + sets (over 48 fixtures) from the 39 parts cars, and can sell you an old pitted one without a light bulb as a template for $5 and can ship 2 to 3 day priority mail in USA for $6 for a total of $11.
If you want my very best rear courtesy light fixtures I sell for $20 each in nice condition with minimum pitting. This would be the creme of the crop and if you wanted more than one VG+ I would give you a price break. If interested email me at jasonedge@nc.rr.com.
Just for reference USA Parts sells the lenses for $29 per pair (white replacement or original color) and OPGI sales them for $32.99 per pair.

My son, unbeknownst to me, had all three of the horns on our 1963 Eldorado completely restored. We had recently added the Eldorado trumpet horn to the two standard horns and the sound was not very good... we had heard good ones so we knew something was not right... but there was not much we could do to get better sound from the 3 horns.
There is a restoration service called The Horn Works who my son…

Hi all,
I have a 63 series 62 convertible.
Thought it would be a good idea to make the fin lights flash as well as tail/stop lights.
They did this in 64 i believe.
i replaced single filiment bulb holder in fin lamp, to a twin filiment.
ran a wire from the tail/stop lights to this extra filiment in the fin light.
its the pink wire on the color diagram i have. purple on passenger side.
Any how, yes it works and looks great, during the…
