Hello All,
I have one of the original keys to my 63 and it has the code of 9477. Is there anyway to find out the code of the other key. It would be great to get a set of keys cut to code just like when she came off the showroom floor.

Thanks in Advance,

The original envelope is postmarked May 1991.Return address is Cadillac Motor Division ,Detroit, Michigan and handwritten next to return address is 'Greg Wallace, dept. 809' He used to run an ad in Hemmings and if I remember correctly was a member of CLC. Jason, I am curious to know if you have ever found a build sheet in any of the 40 or so cars you have parted? I have parted around a dozen 63-64's and have never found one. Have found them in Pontiacs I have parted, sometimes 2 in a car. Usually stuffed in the back seat springs.

Sadly, the newer build sheets blanks out the other cars built that are listed on that page. I have both an early and later provided build sheet.  I like seeing all the other cars. Bill, when did your order your build sheet?

I was looking at the site last night, I will for sure be ordering my build sheet tomorrow morning.

Thanks Again Bill,

Pulled out the lock and of course there was no code on it. But the good thing is I have one code. Will take the cylinder to a locksmith and have them cut a perfect key for me. Hope it's too expensive. Think I will spring for a build sheet as well.

The key codes on my build sheet were blank. I think a locksmith can get the code off the cylinder and cut new keys using original stock keys.  I would be curious how many others have or don't have the key codes on their build sheets?  I had forgotten there was even a column for it since mine just had blanks.

Ron, Here is a link to order a build sheet for your car from the GM Heritage site. I bought one for my car when the archive was in the hands of Greg Wallace about 20 years ago. It had the key codes on the build sheet. Good luck, Bill    http://www.gmmediaarchive.com/?page=2

1963 Eldorado convertible boot

Posted by Les Eastling on February 27, 2020 at 10:33am 1 Comment

I need a used convertible boot for a 63 Cadillac convertible - condition or color is not an issue since it will be used as a pattern for making a new one. One from either a 62 series convertible or an Eldorado would work. I know I am searching for hen's teeth here... but you never know unless you ask!
