Hi Jason. My name is Mike and I recently posted on here looking to the Park Avenue rear gender logo words and another member said you may have them. Please contact me weather you do or not and if you'd be willing to sell them. Thank you Michael

Thanks for allowing me to join the club! I have owned my Cadillac since 1985 and purchased it from the original owner. My car is all original, 68K actual miles, runs like a dream! I hope to keep it that way with all of the support from the group! Looking forward to many positive interactions. Looks like a great crew!

Hi Jason,

Thanks very much for the welcome to the club. I have been a 63/64 Cadillac fan for many years and sold my '64 Cadillac 62 Series Coupe to my childhood friend who enjoys the car a lot. It was originally from Pasco, WA., Serial # 64G020283. A great vehicle and was also my wedding car 27 years ago.

Thanks for the add! I’ll be sure to get photos of my Caddy up for viewing in the next few days. This site looks to be a great source of reference for the 63/64 Cadillacs. I picked up my 1963 a few weeks ago for a mere $500 bucks! She has been parked since 1981.  Needless to say I’ll be looking though the site to help me bring her back to glory. She not in to bad of shape and I’ll share my photos of the journey of restoration as I work on it.

Merry Xmas Looking forward to getting to know  you all. Being a Cadillac fan has changed so much over the years, the internet is the big one. Ive just landed my 63 Turino Turquoise Coupe de Ville. Power gp1 equip gp B,3 It is a one family owned Black plate California car with 32k on the clock. In the glove box was a full registration history with the 2022 renewal . A quick search of  f/b led to  the grandson who gave me the cars history within 15 mins! It was his Grandmothers who drove it until  a minor accident. The car was repaired and had a cheap repaint. The family used it until her death  Was in dry storage for years until the grandson started a restoration. He expressed his frustration to me at the difficulty he had in getting quality work done, finally and reluctantly deciding to sell it. It is now for me to get it back to where it should be. This is my 47 th Cadillac after a 35 year break. I have a 2005 CTSV and a 1930  V16 project also.

If you have a 63 Service Manual for your car ( which is a must have ) and the info available on this site you will have all the info you might need to get any repair or restoration project completed on our year cars  ( including parts from the part suppliers here )

Following what others have done for a given repair will inspire you to get yours done with the knowledge  and experience provided

All threads are stored in a library here which you can find in the —-Search - on the very top right of the home page

The boys that live here —-for years —are as good as it gets regarding anything  you need to know about our year cars

So restore away —as you are in the best place you can be to be owning one of our year Cadillacs

The best year Cadillac to own in my own opinion knowing and owning many year Cadillacs  in the past myself

Enjoy

Hello Jason, Thanks for the greetings! I’m looking forward to becoming active with our local CLC here in Orange County, Ca. I’ve owned my Cadillac since the early 90’s and have had it on hold due to life’s commitments. I’m at the age where it’s time to move on this wonderful old original car. Thanks again and happy to be included in the club! Mike

Hi Jason.  Your recent post about waxing your trumpet horn cracked me up.  It was also a reminder that this rare option is becoming harder to find.  Please add me to your list for this mythical beast...dollars don't mean much to me for this item. I am also just touching base with you about being on your list for a commercial sway bar.  cheers

Thanks for adding me Jason. I was a member of the site before (many years ago), but was not active for a while. You sold me several parts for my 63 CDV when I lived in Florida.

Paul.

Thank you Jason. I was hoping to speak with you first before posting. I recently sold my 64 coupe that we had for 20+yrs and now that I have retired have started to thin out my automobilia collection. I have come across all the literature I had collected years ago for the 1964 and am trying to get it organized. In my research I am unable to find anything on several of the items so I was hoping to have some of the members help out with valuation input. My intention is to then sell everything as one lot. I have never offered it for sale before either online or even locally so this seemed like the most logical starting point as I am hoping the members will find some of the stuff interesting. I would appreciate any of your guidance as to how to best approach doing this. Regards, Mark Sullivan

Lower Front End Ball Joints

Posted by Logan Robb on May 11, 2023 at 9:04am 7 Comments

Good Morning all!

I took the 64 into the shop to have some adjustments completed and in the process decided to have the lower ball joints replaced as was recommended the last time I had it in. I ordered the parts and came into the shop. They quoted me nearly $500 to replace those lower ball joints requiring nearly 4hrs of labor. Now this is a reputable shop and they know me by name here and they will continue to get my business. I am just questioning what on earth is…

1964 power steering sector rebuild

Posted by CHRIS CARLSON on March 20, 2023 at 11:32pm 3 Comments

I'm having my steering sector rebuilt, and considering changing it from 20-1 ratio 4.2 turns lock to lock to 3.5 turns lock to lock @ 16-1 ratio, If i change from a 3 1/4" box to a 3" box i could have a 14-1 Ratio steering response would be faster, shorter distance to turn the wheel to get a response,   has anyone done this? and how do you like it? thank you
