Just so you don't think you are going crazy I have made a couple of very minor changes to the website. The layout is exactly the same, just a couple of cosmetic changes to, well, just change it up a bit. These include
- different colors for the background and module boxes. Again, just to change it up a bit.
- underlined links. I think there was a reason why I had left them not underlined in the past, maybe because it looks a bit more cluttered, but I now think it is nice to see there is a "clickable link" where otherwise you might not know to click.
You can't make everyone happy but at least it is a bit of change to keep things fresh. There will come a day when Ning will make us migrate from our Ning 2.0 platform here to the 3.0 platform and that will be a BIG change.. photo albums go away, and I am afraid a lot of material will not convert and will have to rebuild, so I like the 2.0 platform and just make slight adjustments instead of any thing major and timeconsuming... since I know we will have to convert at some point. (ps. others must like our website in it's current configuration also as we won the Overall Cadillac LaSalle Club Website award for the 2nd time last year!)

OK. I didn't like the underlined links... looked way too cluttered. Sometimes you have to learn a lesson more than once to make it stick! I did change the active link color to a more pronounced blue. Maybe that will be a bit better. Another day and another fresh cup of coffee and might want to tweak a bit more.

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My son, unbeknownst to me, had all three of the horns on our 1963 Eldorado completely restored. We had recently added the Eldorado trumpet horn to the two standard horns and the sound was not very good... we had heard good ones so we knew something was not right... but there was not much we could do to get better sound from the 3 horns.
There is a restoration service called The Horn Works who my son…
