"The porn part was directed towards that beautiful car Kevin, that thing definitely has some sexy lines. At this point of my life this is my porn! The toes on the other hand well..... hey we just gotta have a little fun. Thanks Joe"
"Hey Joe, with out Fleetwood, the timber inserts on the front door trims were badly faded. For over a year now, I just wipe them over weekly with O'Cedar wood oil and they are coming back pretty good. For the first few months, nothing…"
"Geez Clovis, you're a shocker. Now, to be truthful, I was nearly going to ask Joe if he was a Pom, but I thought no, that's a bit rude..... then you say he has camel toes.
Hey Joe, we always take Clovis to places twice, the second time to…"
"Love your color combo
Not a combination of color that is very common in our year cars --so it is special for that reason
Car is in very nice condition
Enjoy every minute you own and restore her

Yes, that's right. Looked pretty scruffy in the EBay listing, but I went down to Palm Beach to have a look. Very nice interior. Some paint issues and some surface rust on the undercarriage. Plus some kind of weird top that I've never seen before. Vinyl but with a coarse suede-like texture, plus painted top hard surfaces and a lining...also things I've never seen in this vintage of Cadillac. Paint is older Laquer with some issues, but not to horrible. Engine just rebuilt, brakes done, AC just done, everything works. Car drives beautifully. It came from the Walgreen family collection via the seller, who bought this and three other cars from Jim Walgreen a couple years ago.
Thanks, Jason. Just bought the '64, and it will be delivered tomorrow or Friday from Palm Beach. The old girl will need some work, but has a pretty amazingly well-preserved original interior. Will need a lot of work on the engine bay, undercarriage, trunk, and some paint work...oh, and a top...LOL. The car was bought new by the Walgreen family, and owned by them until two years ago when the guy I bought it from got it. It seems the top was rarely down, thus the nice interior. I like other Cadillac's too, and have a '67 Eldorado (Capri Aqua slick top/Aqua leather), a '78 Seville (Riudoso Saddle Metallic slick top, Medium Saddle Leather), and a 2008 XLR-V (Black Raven/Ebony)
My driver side tail light does not work. The lights on the fin works, passenger side works. Check the fuses everything looks good. Should I follow the wire from the tail light and where does it run…Continue
My '64 Cadillac DeVille had been sitting for awhile while I was travelling this summer and when I came home it had some issues starting. After replacing the plugs and the ignition coil, it was running better than it had in a long time but the brakes were sticking. I noticed the brake pedal was traveling a little farther than usual when slowing down. Soon after I noticed a hissing noise coming from around the brake pedal. Then I lost the brakes pretty much completely. I couldn't find any…
I got the book to troubleshoot the system. INDISPENSABLE to this effort.
As I do a cursory exam, I see that the AC RECIRC SOLENOID is Cracked (the WHITE one in the engine compartment coming out of the HVAC body with two vacuum hoses on it). I tried to patch it up (cracked all around the base), but it does not look like it will hold.
PLEASE TELL ME THAT REPLACING THIS PART IS NOT AS DIFFICULT AS I THINK IT IS, But I think it is a bear to…
My 63 CDV factory A/C was trash so I replaced every part in the system and converted to R134 . I also installed a STV bypass kit which eliminated the STV all together and converted the system to a cycling system. I vacumed and charged the system with 36oz of 134. The system is cycling as it should and the pressures are right at 250 high side, cycle off at 25lbs and cycle back on at about 35lbs. It is making plenty of water on the low side hoses and evaporator drain. There is very good air…
