Classic Cadillac Parts - Backing a Threaded Stud out with Two Nuts
Video showing how to back a threaded stud out using two nuts tightened against each other. This will prevent damage to stud shank and thread. 1963/64 Cadillac use studded threads in several locations including the carburetor hold down, distributor hold down bracket, intake manifold to cylinder head, alternator adjustment link, front engine cover to oil pan, etc.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
