429 engine for sale in Seattle area

Posted on May 8, 2014 at 2:58pm 2 Comments

I have a 1965 429 for sale that was removed from a running car.  It could use a couple gaskets, but other than that was a good running motor.  It is complete, minus exhaust manifolds and carb, and has been in dry storage in my garage.  Open to reasonable offers.

Parts Im searching for

Posted on May 8, 2014 at 2:55pm 3 Comments

Hello all,

My caddy has been in storage for 3 years while I've been working out of state, but I'm ready to get back on my parts search!

I'm looking for the following parts if anyone can help:

-right side door mirror (yes I know this is very hard to find!)

-parts for a power vent window conversion

-parts for a power lock conversion

-quarter panel spear molding for a 64 CDV

thanks,

Blake

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
