I just posted some pictures of the 40th Parts Car to my Facebook Page at this link:
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151882460410883.1073741...
There are a ton of great parts on this car - some will go to my 64 Coupe Deville and others to customers. I got into pulling in parts cars back in 1996 first and foremost to find good parts for my 64 Coupe DeVille and still get very excited when I find nice pieces I can use on my CDV.
Two things that stood out on this one was the practically unused BF Goodrich Silvertown 8.20 x 15 Bias Ply Tires and the posi (controlled) differential. The tires are date stamped 1508 (15th week of 2008) which is over 4 years newer than my Silvertowns that are date stamped 1304 (13th week 2004). The spare which you see cleaned up below is like brand spanking new and the ones on the car look barely used and should clean up very nicely. At the least I will have one really nice spare and may end up swapping out all 4 tires! The posi is also a nice find as there are not that many out there.
As I indicated, there are tons of great parts coming off this Caddy to go on my 64 Coupe DeVille and into the hands of customers. I am already going down my "needs list" and checking with customers in the order they requested parts.
If you need something and are not already on my needs wait list for that item, email me at jasonedge@nc.rr.com and give me details including specfics of exactly what you need and I will put you on the list and get back with you when the part is available.
NOTE: You can send personal messages, etc, but I need an email with your email or phone # in order to contact you when I have the part available. There have already been a couple items on the car (e.g. dash in car sensor grill) that are being shipped out to customers that have been on the list for several years.
Below are a few pictures you will see on my Facebook Album:

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
