AC Fan Speed
Now that my girl has a new heater core and everything inside the dash looks good, I was wondering.....My AC is blowing cold air but noticed the Air Flow could be better. Does the Transducer control Fan Speed? Is my blower motor ready for replacement? I was also thinking of adding additional Radiator Cooling Fans to help the air flow through the condenser at idle.
Any opinions or options would be welcome.

The transducer converts electrical signal to vacuum and controls the power servo vacuum diaphragm which controls the blend door that allows air past the heater core for heat or the ac evaporator for cooling. I would first confirm that you have the control lever in the 2nd automatic position (red arrow) which allows for max fan speed. If that does not work, there are several situations that can cause it not to blow on high (eg. bad high speed switch, open/broken wire, resistor board on power servo, etc) which are detailed in Cadillac Tims (Tim Groves) manual. Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
