Happy Thanksgiving to all of our 1963/64 Cadillac Chapter & Website Members!

Earlier Fall Picture with 'Dino'

I just wanted to wish all of our US members and any others that celebrate Thanksgiving a very Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for many things in my life, especially our Cadillac Chapter and Website and the many friends I have made over the years thru our Cadillac Connection. I have missed all the CLC Carolina Region meet-ups and the once a year Grand National Chapter Meet-Up this past year due to COVID, but the word on the street is the vaccines are coming and there will be better days to meet-up and kick the Cadillac Tires. I've always been an optimist and think how dire things would have been if COVID had hit say in the 1980's or sometime before the Internet. At least we have our website which provides us instant connection. Look for a December Newsletter within the next 2 weeks that will feature Larry Rees' 1964 deVille Convertible, used extensively in the Lifetime Channel's now airing movie "Christmas on Wheels".   If you have Lifetime Channel you can check it out at this link https://www.mylifetime.com/movies/christmas-on-wheels

Everyone stay safe and have a fantastic Thanksgiving tomorrow!!

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 13 Comments

Hey guys,

In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
