Looking at our Website Member List we have 2,784 members, but often hear from the same 1/2 dozen members ... either as new posts and as replies.   It is great that we have a few dedicated soles (me included) but have had some complaints that we are not giving breathing room for other members to chime in, provide input, ask questions and particiate without being ... well push asside by the multiple replies by a few (again, I am a guilty party).  We also sometime sabotage someone's post by veering off into side conversations not pertinent to the actual question or comment. So.. I'm politely asking everyone to be considerate of others and of course respect everyone.

With that, let's hear from others that have not posted in a while.  Tell us about your Caddy, any projects you are involved in, and life in general. We don't have the restrictive rules like they have on the CLC forums and I personally like hearing what everyone is up to... just keep it in the "General" forum.

Post here and tell us what you have been up to or post add a new discussion thread.

Hi!  Same fun, different day for me.  I suppose commenting more often would help me get off this island I feel like I’m on.  It seems nobody around me enjoys old cars.  That’s all I do is old car stuff.

Michael, Great to hear from you. Think of our website as a safe place to share your old car fun.  I have freed up some of my personal time getting past a Celebration of Life event for both mine and my wife's moms (lost my mom Jan 15 & Cheryl's mom Aug 5) and a family reunion and will be sharing more of my shenanigans with Dino in the coming weeks and months but really want to hear from all of you!

I’m very sorry about your mothers.  I remember you mentioning them last year.  We won’t be able to make the Orlando trip, unfortunately.  Too bad, because it’s only about seven hours away.

ps.Any of you going to the CLC Reunion meet-up in Orlando next month. Me and Chapter Member Les Eastling will be riding down together in my 2013 Escalade EXT.  It will be a nother opportunity for some of us Chapter members to hang out. I will post more on this in the coming days.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
