There is a 650 Neutral Safety Switch on eBay right now for $315 at this link: Click Here.

FITS: 1964 Cadillacs with Hydramatic Transmission (Series 62, 75 series and Commercial Chassis) without the tilt column.

$315 seems like a lot, but I see used ones with chipped out channels sell for more than this. I also have dealt with the seller over the years and is very reputable.  My 64 CDV uses a 653 NSS, but if I used this one I would jump all over it!  I checked and have no one on my Wait List for this NSS so if anyone needs one I would jump on it.

ps. Seller has a few other 1963/64 Cadillac NOS items. One was a set of tail lamp center aluminum ornament bars that I picked up a couple days ago, just arrived today, and will probably be going on my 64 Caddy tomorrow.

Just one more note, I will start sharing more deals and rare parts finds here on the site going forward. I had thought about starting a new forum category but am having a hard time coming up with a name. For example, McVeys has a 10% discount they are now running now thru Jan 12 on $150 and over orders and would include that sort of thing in addition to rare part finds. Anyway, I can just post here under the 63/64 Cadillac forum category for now.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
