I have loved 1963/ 1964 Cadillacs ever since my Father bought me a model kit of a 1964 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. I fell in love with the style and beauty of this luxury car from a very young age. It quickly became my dream car and now many years later, I finally have it.
I am having a terrible time with my 64 SDV- She quit on me at a Red Light. All the ignition parts are new and the points are properly adjusted. I have 12 Volts going to the coil and power to the distributor- but NO SPARK. So I thought -must be a bad coil. I changed the coil three times and just bought a Fourth- still NO SPARK- even with 12 Volts going to it. I am lost here. My 64 SDV has no power going to Coil. I have a good battery that is fully charged and everything looks to be hooked up correctly. Is there a fuse that may have blown that provides power to the coil? Has anyone else had this problem?
Any info would be Greatly Appreciated.
