"Thanx for your reply. First of all I mistakenly indcated that I have a '66 when actually it is a '64.  Turns out I underestimated the previous owner because when I removed the left side indicator from the fender the wire was broken…"

"Trace the wires coming from the lamps ,you’ll find the grounds, if that don’t work trace the wires back to the steering column, switch etc. "

"Check bulbs, usually it’s a grounding issue clean the grounds on the lamps make sure they are cleaned."

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
