tech link - Cadillac items for sale link?

Posted on September 19, 2012 at 10:51am 1 Comment

Jason, thanks for the new "help topics" link excellent addition and very helpful way to find tech info for our cars. Also have you thought about a link for members that want to sell or buy Cadillac items?  I have parts from several 64s to sell but I do not consider myself an official Cadillac 'parts supplier' as the link above would indicate. Any thoughts on this? And again thanks Jason for all your shared knowledge and time consuming work

Was I mistaken or did  you state you have a LH visor bracket for a 64 convertible?

Trunk lids are completely different.

Core hood is the same but if using a 64 hood on a 63, you need to transfer the front lower hood extension from the 63 to the 64, and fill V mounting holes and drill new as the 63 V is smaller than the 64 V, and some 64 Fleetwoods (60 Special and Eldo) have the wreath instead of the V with different mounting hole patterns.  Of course you can use the 64 V or Wreath if not concerned about originality.

James, I don't think the 64 trunk lid or hood will match up with the 63, just a guess though

Where in Southwest Colorado?  We have a home on the Rio Grande in Creede, Colorado, and are one of the owners of  resort between Creede and South Fork (Cottonwood Cove Resort).  We spend most of the summers up there, passing through Cortez, Durango and Pagosa Springs on the way.
