" Tony and Ginny if your question was for me, yes it is higher by 4in. and bottom of skirt is center of hub cap. car looks & handles travel junk in trunk better. close to level , but what would new fronts do? also has radials needed a lift."

"henry, today i just installed one rear spring on my 64 60 series.the tired spring stands 18.5 new h.d. stands 17 in.off car, wire size is a little larger on new ones .i got them from springs n things in pa. $ 125 plus shipping ,fast service too.…"

To start i want to say nothing wrong with customs. But, along with Tony and Ginny 429 many words  of wisdom it is enough to maintain in original condition. Cadillac built the car to run like Chuck Berrys Maybelline, my orig. carb . gets me 13 mpg. on the road ,70-75 mph.and if i feel the need to pass rice Irocket,no problem! "If you are running a Flamethrower II or III coil with higher potential voltage you can increase the plug gap. I think I went from .035 to .040. If you are running a stock coil I would keep at stock plug gap. "

Dave, i was told by a man in TENN. that has a distributor shop that you should widen spark plug gap and use 8mm. wires with that system .have not changed my car yet. have done 2 IH. trucks in the past with good results they were not flame thrower III his name is Bob Soucy he also sells the systems and has a shop &tech info # 239-6713971 good luck keep us up dated!See More

1964 Fleetwoods for sale

last summer-fall, i  spoke to a man named  Trevor  in  Savannah NY about a pair of 64  Fleetwoods for sale. he just contacted me to let me know they are still  for sale  one is frame off resto 10 years ago the other car running driving re-paint, if i remember correctly around 15,xxx for the pair? best to ask what he is asking a year later. Upper A Arm Rubber Bumpers

I have found a very good replacement part for the Upper A Arm Bumpers.  The top part is identical to the originals the bottom can be used as is or after a few minutes with a belt sander can be ground to the V shape as the originals were.  The replacement bumpers are for a 2001 to 2005 S10 Sanoma or Blazer.  Part number is on the box in the photos.  First photo is the box next to the box is the S10 part and an original.  Next photo shows my sanded down part next to an original.…
