I have found a very good replacement part for the Upper A Arm Bumpers. The top part is identical to the originals the bottom can be used as is or after a few minutes with a belt sander can be ground to the V shape as the originals were. The replacement bumpers are for a 2001 to 2005 S10 Sanoma or Blazer. Part number is on the box in the photos. First photo is the box next to the box is the S10 part and an original. Next photo shows my sanded down part next to an original.…Continue
Starting to tear down my front end to replace all suspension parts. First problem encountered is removing the top ball joints, "spherical joints". Page 4-1 of shop manual says "The upper suspension arms and spherical joints are interchangeable, left and right, previous to being welded into an assembly. Figure 4-35 0n page 4-23 shows picture of the upper arm without the ball joint.

I took an extra driver side mirror I had that was in bad shape, ground off the rivet holding the plate that serves as a spring that keeps the mirror tight. I found only a round head holding the mirror to the post. So far any attempt to remove the holder (I am…Continue

There has been a lot of questions about chrome plating lately so thought I would add to it. In September 2013 I had both front and rear bumpers plus some other parts plated at Superior Chrome Plating in Houston, Texas. They did a beautiful job and would recommend them. This was all for a 63 Series 63 Convertible.
