I thought I would do a bit of video with my 64 Coupe DeVille running and show the cornering and turn signal lights but I am pretty much muffled out by the car running... but thought I would share anyway.

Correct. All blinkers are also brake lights. The bottom section will light up white when in reverse. The backup light is directly behind the clear lens. The parking/brake/blinker lights go through a red lens before reflecting through the clear lens. There is a good troubleshooting procedure in the Help section. Click on the "Help" tab in the header at the top of this page and scroll down to "- Tail Lamp Testing from the Back Trunk Wall Connector"
Jay, if your car is a 64 or actually any year other than 63 then yes, your tail fin lights should blink. If they don't check the bullbs. I have a 63 and for some dumb reason, Cadillac decided to make the fin lights running lights only that year. I retrofitted mine with LED strips to fix that design problem : )
Denny. No problem. Hopefully, my reply was on target for what you were asking. If not you might want to repost in a separate forum post.
Denny, I am not following the question. This video is showing the headlights, park lights and cornering lights? Not sure which motor you are talking about pulling? If you are talking about pulling an engine, I remove the large 3/4" nut off the bottom through the frame tower and pull the engine with the motor mount attached. Again, not quite sure what this question is referring to?

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
