There is a couple in their 80s about ready to celibrate their 50th wedding anaversery. Their son saw my 63 Cadillac in San Diego and he is trying to find a 1960-1964 Cadillac in Las Vegas in the spring for a ride. Why? It seems these couple had a 1962 Cadillac when they were married 50 years ago. The son wants to do something nice for them and find “the car” to take them to a nice dinner or show.
If you have a nice Cadillac in Vegas, I would like to connect you…

My Jetaway in my 1963 convertible is giving me problems....again. It has 10K on a rebuild. The transmission has been a problem some years and I have a lot of money into it. I have not found a good transmission guy, so I am thinking.
Does anybody have specific parts and instructions for a 700R transplant?? I am thinking that I might just get rid of the Jetaway and the headaches from the thing.
Any Ideas???

Hi
After cleaning these switches several times, I need to give up on this switches. I understand there are some options (none of which I have used). I understand
1. There is an AC Delco Part #F6035 (UPC 21625479576)
2. Airtex/Wells Part # 1S1098 used in 1968 Ford Falcons and Torinos (also has numbers 88924188, DOOZ13713A, DIAZ13713E, D70Z13713A and SW110)
3. A Mercedes 1999-2000 CLK430 switch (square) WO133-1893249
These are all 3-pole switches. I would…

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks

My son, unbeknownst to me, had all three of the horns on our 1963 Eldorado completely restored. We had recently added the Eldorado trumpet horn to the two standard horns and the sound was not very good... we had heard good ones so we knew something was not right... but there was not much we could do to get better sound from the 3 horns.
There is a restoration service called The Horn Works who my son…

I found a diagram that illustrates the main factor in determining a spark plug heat range that I was trying to describe to you during the chapter get together.
Here it is:
The main factor is the length of the ceramic insulator from the middle of the spark plug to the tip (where the spark happens)
The insulator…
