Frank,  just to be clear it is the regular rear end that is for sale and not the limited slip?  Just fyi, the gear for AC cars was 3.21, not 3.25.   As you know there is a bigger demand (and value) for the optional controlled (limited slip differentials), however, either type are getting harder to find. I use to have 5 or 6 regular rear ends but am out of complete assemblies right now.

Maybe this is clearer,I have a 1963 Cadillac hypoid (3.21) differential with 80K on it. Found a limited slip a while back, and I do not think I will ever used the original diff. In is in Carlsbad California 92009. Let me know if you are interested or know anybody we might be. Basically, it has been in my garage for years and I want it out of my garage. Buy one out of a yard - $1000? The $200 asking price seems low to me. I will ship it (Put it on a pallet and help load on a common carrier)

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
