"That would be my guess. It is likely there is an open circuit somewhere in the sending unit."

"An open connection will cause the fuel gauge to spike passed Full. try grounding the the brown wire. That should cause the fuel gauge to spike Empty. There are detailed testing procedures in the Help…"

"Mack Do I need bearing and gaskets, where do the gaskets go or is it for the rear end cover gasket. I'm going to have my mechanic do it but I want to get him all the parts as these parts are not always standard."

"Super easy job so do it yourself without wasting $$$ on some shop! if one of them went bad then I’d highly suggest you to both sides! This way you can replace gaskets and the oil as well. Just slide out both axels and take it toNapa or…"

"Dominic, It's not that big a job. You will need a slide hammer to remove the bearing/axle shaft. You can borrow or rent one from an auto parts store. I can't recall offhand if you need to remove the brake components from the backing plate…"

Car lift and jack stands
