Jason...they will give you an estimate and they stuck to it. It cost me $450.00 and I'm estimating he spent every bit of 10+ hours working on the front and back. They will come to your house and do all the work. Best of all they stand behind their work you do not pay until your happy with the results. I went this route because I just could not justify having the interior replaced when the fabric all still looked great, carpet is good, headliner is good it was just the leather that was the problem.
At this time I really don't need to do anything to the arm rests...while not perfect they still look very good.
Amazing results......Looks great!!
Kevin, This is fantastic. What is the cost like on redoing the front and rear seats? My original leather is actually not bad but do have a left arm rest top that is showing signs of wear. Are you having anything done to door panels or arm rest. Again very curious about cost and how they charge...by the hr or by the job?
This company can do some amazing things with vinyl and leather that you would never think possible.
Wow I wish I had met this guy before all the cracks in my seat turned to tears.
I posted a link to this message thread on our help page under Vinyl & Leather Repair and put a link to Fibrenew in our Parts Suppliers page.
They are a national company with locations around the US and the World
Website is www.fibrenew.com
I will post before and after pictures once complete...the job has stalled due to wet conditions. I took the car out last night to our local Cadillac Club Meeting and the members were impressed with how the back seat looked compared to the front seat.

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks

My son, unbeknownst to me, had all three of the horns on our 1963 Eldorado completely restored. We had recently added the Eldorado trumpet horn to the two standard horns and the sound was not very good... we had heard good ones so we knew something was not right... but there was not much we could do to get better sound from the 3 horns.
There is a restoration service called The Horn Works who my son…
