Hello all, I am currently installing my new door panels and figured it was a good time to get the power windows working well on my 64 deviled convertible. I replaced all the felts and window channel, greased all the tracks, and replaced the window motor with a remanufactured one figuring that the old one didn't have enough power anymore to raise the window. It still does not work very well. When you hit the switch up, it seems as if the rear of the widow goes up first and pushes the front into the wing window and jams up. I have to help the window up and down. Played with alignment for over an hour with little improvement if any. Any suggestions? Any shops around Milwaukee wi that have experience with this? Thanks in advance

Are the regulator rollers engaged?  It sounds like one is not in the track.  Or the vent window is not aligned.  Close the door and look at the inside of the A pillar vs. the trim/edges on the vent window. They should be even up and down the A pillar.

Yes rollers are in the track and vent window is aligned. Lines up nice with the door closed
I think the new felt may be too thick and is restricting the window movement just did the drivers side with the same result

My mechanic has sourced a choke housing and new internals.  As you might expect, the choke tube is damaged and or clogged.  My options are to either replace the choke tube, or my mechanic recommends…Continue

I just replaced my tires from Diamondback (I had bad results in the past from Coker).  It was the second time, due to the age of the tires.  About 18 years ago Diamondback made custom whitewalls…Continue

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Edelbrock Carb Block off Plates

Posted by Chase on March 12, 2025 at 2:05pm 14 Comments

Hey guys,

I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
