Often spraying the tuner knob rod with tuner lube/cleaner will do the make it turn easier AND get rid of static. I always use the tuner lube cleaner available thru Radio Shack designed for electro-mechanical components. See picture below and Click Here for a link to it. I have also had lock spraying the belt with belt dressing so it will grip better. If your belt is stretched beyond hope I have a stack of 20+ am radios and think they have the same belt as the am/FM's..maybe not but can check.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
