"russ thanks steering wheel was lwobbly after fat tire guy must of leaned on getting in or out of carand it wobbles up and down.took apart with friend.where is crush washer located or how to identafy.thanks again russ"

"What do you want to rebuild? I have a rag joint rebuild kit for 40.00  If your steering wheel is wobbly, the crush washer was damaged. You can shim that up with a very thin washer. "

carter carb paper gaskets

had my carter carb on my 63 rebuilt when i got it back rebuilder gave me 2 rochester paper gaskets according to the ones jason sells.will those be a problem putting them on my carter? thanks in advance.See More

"I would pinpoint the leak. Clean front of engine, get it dry and fire it up. If not coming out of the front of the water pump seal, etc. it could be between the front engine cover and the block at the coolant channels, or the cover and the water…"

"tony my mechanic just replaced water pump,and told me its coming from engine coverand put that stop leak in and it stopped until last week .lasted couple mounths and started again"

guys just transplanted 64 tilt into a63 non tilt everything successful but having trouble with round horn button with wire inside wheel works then drive a little stops working any idea what the problem might be.thanks for any suggestions

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
