front engine leaking antifreeze
mechanic says antifreeze leak is coming from engine cover.hows that?

tony my mechanic just replaced water pump,and told me its coming from engine coverand put that stop leak in and it stopped until last week .lasted couple mounths and started again

I would pinpoint the leak. Clean front of engine, get it dry and fire it up. If not coming out of the front of the water pump seal, etc. it could be between the front engine cover and the block at the coolant channels (circled in blue in 1st picture below), or the cover and the water pump (circled in green in 2nd picture below). You need to find out where the coolant is seeping from.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
