64 Eldorado
I finally was able to get some decent pictures of my 64 Eldorado and post them. Between work and the weather I have not been able to get much done to the car. I think I pretty much described it in earlier blogs but to cover things quickly the car is complete and has exceptionally nice trim. The body is nice and straight except the hood and I have a hood for it. Interior is all complete, has a nice dash pad, good glass and all the convertible parts are good including the header. The conv top well is very solid and so is the trunk floor, the interior floors all need replacing. Engine is all complete but is currently stuck. The price has been lowered to $4800. Actually this is for someone else, the car is for sale. I do not have the time right now o restore this car even though I have wanted a 64 Eldo for years. I have 4 other old Cadillacs a kid in college so I am not going to take any new projects. The first $4800 buys the car.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
