64 Eldorado

I finally was able to get some decent pictures of my 64 Eldorado and post them.  Between work and the weather I have not been able to get much done to the car.  I think I pretty much described it in earlier blogs but to cover things quickly the car is complete and has exceptionally nice trim.  The body is nice and straight except the hood and I have a hood for it.  Interior is all complete, has a nice dash pad, good glass and all the convertible parts are good including the header.  The conv…

I am attaching some pictures of the 64 Eldorado that we just picked up out of nearly 40 years of barn storage. It is totally complete with really nice trim especially the rear wheel opening moldings. Anyone seriously interested please contact me. I will add pictures later

1964 Eldorado

I just picked up in NC a true barn find, car was stored in a barn since 1975. It is a totally complete 64 Eldorado red with black interior. The car needs a complete restoration but has a relatively solid body with some damage on the rf fender and hood, needs 3 floor pans. Has very nice Eldo only trim, good glass, complete interior. I will be posting pictures this weekend. There is no title. Call Robert for details 540-588-2405. Please do not call after 10 PM

New Parts Cars

I have recently aquired 2 new 63 parts cars.  They are both 62 Series 4 window sedans.  Both have air and one has a tilte column.  One has a complete engine and the other does not.  There is a lot of good trim on them a few good sheet metal pieces, but unfortunately no good front bumper ends.  Email if you have any specific needs at singin7044@aol.com

Parts at Hershey

I have not been able to post much this year been to busy with kids and work.  However I am making my annual treck to Hershey.  My spaces are GDC 21-22 in the green field right in front of the Giant Center.  I am going to be bringing a lot of 63, 64 parts as well as 58-60.  I have a solid Texas 63 hood that I will bring if someone needs one, for $125.  I can send to pictures to anyone interested.  I am brining a solid 64 rear bumper center that has some small dents but it is a great core for…

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Vintage Air AC

Posted by Chase on March 21, 2024 at 5:55am 0 Comments

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
