Some of my vacuum tubes are getting old and a bit brittle. Where can I get some new with the correct color-lines? Any tips?

Hi Leonhard, thank you for this tip. Hmm, but they are glossy... but better than nothing.

Thank you Jason, but they are still relatively good. But I wanted to think about the future ;)

I've got a dozen or so 5 and 7 port original comfort control vacuum hose sets that can be used for parts to splice in, or snip the ends and re use.  Price is $25 + s/h. If interested email me at jasonedge@nc.rr.com .

Well, they are still ok. I cut some of the ends and they are quite tight again, but the one to the vacuum switch for the climate control is veeery short now and not the best.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
