Gear for power vent window
Im having a hard time locating the gear for the power vent window in my 64 Eldo. The existing one has 14 teeth and all I seem to be finding are ones with 17 teeth. Any suggestions?

The original gears seem to indeed have - or in my case had - only 14 teeth, while the reproduction has 17. I bought mine either from Hydro Electric or from TA Motor in Sweden. I believe it only opens 90 degrees.
Additionally, the other end of the gear is different. The gap where you bolt the window frame is much wider and does not surround the frame on all sides. Therefore, the vent window is not firmly attached to the gear, which is very annoying. How have you solved this problem? The original type clips are not sufficient.
The Auto City Classic gears seem to have the correct gap.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
