I have been more than a bit quiet the past couple of weeks due to a really bad fall January 31 where I tore my right knee MCL ligament and ruptured the ACL Ligament. MCL will heal in time but ACL is no longer as it was completely ruptured. It has not been a good time for me the past 2 weeks, but have went from literally crawling around on the floor to moving around with the leg brace. I am told people get by without the ACL but need to build up my quads and heal the MCL. I have been to PT therapy twice so far, and everything is improving.
My office is up over my garage so access has been limited but getting around better now. I will be in the leg brace for a few weeks but hope to come out of it eventually! I have been trying to catch up on things and get back to normal as much as I can. The thing that really pissed me off was the fact the day before I had registered for the 2026 GN in Charlotte and included the 64 Coupe de Ville. I had planned to be sliding around under it much of February touching up and putting the undercarriage together that has been apart for some time and of course the car sits up on 12" wheel cribs. I have no clue where I will be in June but do the best I can each day.
I am not one to go on and on about injuries, etc. but thought I would share. It is getting warmer around here, and am getting a bit more mobile with the leg brace so maybe I will be back under, over and in Dino in a few weeks ... and may even still be able to make the Grand National.
For kicks and grins here is a picture of my 3 pooches Scout, Presley and Bandit with me wearing the bionic leg ... again!

Terrible news Jason. Dino is in great shape, so don't worry. Your 3 beautiful dogs will help you heal for sure. Rest up and take it easy!!!

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
