Steele Rubber has been the go to business for rubber and rubber related parts for our Cadillacs for many years and have offered customer catalogs for your specific model year and body style and thought it was worth reminding everyone. You can go online at steelerubber.com and in less than 5 minutes have a catalog requested and delivered within a few days. For me the turn around time is about 3 days!
I recently requested a few updated catalogs and have inserted pictures below. What you get - 24 pages of dedicated rubber product and 6 more pages of general items. That is a 30 page printed catalog.
A few things to consider:
KNOW THE NAME OF WHAT YOU NEED! As a parts seller I am amazed at how vague someone can ask for a piece of rubber! If nothing else these catalogs serve as a great reference to the different rubber items found on our cars. I keep my copy within hands reach to my desk at all times.
STEELE IS OFTEN NOT THE CHEAPEST GAME IN TOWN ... but OFTEN FASTER.
But you know what you are getting a quality product and a great reference to the parts and names of the parts. And, you can always use their catalog as a reference. Since Steele is often the supplier, you will often receive items faster with direct order though them.
OTHER COMPANIES USE STEELE RUBBER
if you order from another supplier you will often receive product in Steele Rubber bags (i.e. they contract to sell Steele Rubber Product).
SO..... take advantage of this!
I am glad Steele Rubber provides this service and continue to do so for many years. Like the old saying goes "You do not know how good you have something until it is gone!"

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
