I'm looking for a seatbelt protector (marked red) for my Fleetwood Sixty Special (6039) for the CENTER seatbelt. Not the driver or passenger seat belt protector. It's a chromed plastic piece.

I have added the same picture in the attachment with a higher resolution.

I know I have some, send me an email;  russ85747@hotmail.com

I have a large selection of the inner seat belt chrome plated plastic escutcheons (protectors) with screws. I can pick you out a very nice set for $25 + s/h. Shoot me an email to jasonedge@nc.rr.com.

Jason, I believe I posted about having the needed part. Gentlemen's rules have been broken.

Russ, You have a real problem understanding the idea of buying and selling. I seem to have to repeat this once a year for you, but recently it seems to be once a month. So here goes one more time:

If a person posts something For Sale, that is their for sale post. Not for you or me or anyone else to sabotage and sell our stuff. If someone posts something For Sale, and you or me or anyone jumps in to sale their stuff, it will be removed!

If someone posts a Wanted listing, it is open for all to post what they have. There is absolutely no obligation that the person posting the Wanted listing has to buy from the 1st person that replies. There are countless examples where the person would want to compare what people have for sale. This would include condition, price, location, shipping, etc.

It is not only appropriate for anyone to post something they have in a "Wanted" listing it is encouraged. I like nothing better to see a member get a dozen responses to their "Wanted" listing. That gives them the best possible opportunity to get the best part for the best price.

Christian, Here is a picture of the best set I have. They are not perfect, mint or new, but would grade as VG to VG+. Perhaps someone else has a better pair, but this is the best of about 18 I have on hand right now.

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Vintage Air AC

Posted by Chase on March 21, 2024 at 5:55am 0 Comments

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

accumulator dryer

Who rebuilds original AC  accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year ,  There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A    What  is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks
