My mechanic is having difficulty sourcing a front crankshaft seal. Can anyone recommend a replacement front crankshaft seal, and where to purchase? Amazon has a few that I think(?) are replacements for a 64 Eldorado 429ci. A National with similar AC Delco seals listed. See link:
Amazon.com: National 351267 Oil Seal : Automotive
Does anyone know the OEM (GM/ AC Delco) part number to cross-reference for current available replacements? Thanks in advance.

Rock Auto has a SKF seal and a speedy sleeve kit as well.
I had provided this in an email but might be useful to others:
The original Engine Front Cover Oil Seal was in Parts group 0.213 with Part # 148 4702.
I have been using the SKF 19832 for 2 decades on my 64 with good luck. I show Rock Auto has them for $6 and some change.
I am sure there are other replacement brands and part #’s. I see Caddy Daddy has the seal # 19832 for $39! You got to love how proud Caddy Daddy is of some of their parts.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
