Hey everyone, I need to replace my transmission input seal before spring starts, I’ve been losing a lot of fluid post Sunday drive. I figured I’d do the rear main seal service bulletin at the same time. Is there any advice going into this that people could give I’d really appreciate it.

Jordan ,If its leaking badly you will have to put one in. the best way would be to pull the trans.. I don't know how bad your front trans  seal leak is, but back in 1980- i had a 57 Buick Caballero wagon and the seals leaked on that Dynaflow trans . The local transmission shop told me to put in a can of JB transmission stop leak and drive it for 300 miles i did and it stopped leaking he told me it would soften the seals and it worked.

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu
