My friend, Gerry Fenstermaker, got me interested in ’64 Cadillacs in 1974, when I moved to Los Angeles. “The Eldo’s the one to have…,” was his advice. In 1975, he bought one: a two-owner, black with black top and red interior—all original. It had about 99,000 miles on it and cost about $800. He bought it near his hometown of Allentown, PA. Originally it came from New Jersey, but the second owners kept it in their barn near Emmaus, PA, seen at the rear of these photos, which were taken when Gerry picked up the car. He drove it to L.A., used it for several months, then sold it when he became a flight attendant, which he still is. I think he sold it for $1600 to a fellow who was a restorer for the Nethercutt Collection in Sylmar, CA. I understood that this owner sold it to someone in Kansas City, and it may have worked its way back to the East. The car was in mint condition and ran perfectly in every way. Where is it now?

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

Hey guys,
I have installed the same Edelbrock carb and have done everything the same as Jason’s carb and intake project. In the spring and summer months the car starts, runs and idles great! In the fall and winter months on a cold start, the car starts awful and wants to die until it warms up. I have to keep my foot on the throttle until it warms up or it will idle just terrible and try to die. Once it’s warm, it runs fantastic! Whats going on here? I was thinking of removing the…
