Here is the rear quarter with all the rust stains removed. Hopefully the body work can get finished soon so I can get some paint on this car.

Haha I just hope there is a gift shop on the way out. You know I can't resist picking up a few extra Cadillac goodies.

Chris, Feel free to save and use the picture.
On 2nd thought. I should do it like the amusement rides... you pay to come cut off the qtr fender, and I charge you $10 for an  8x10 glossy! LOL. JUST KIDDING!

Thanks Tony and Jason. Cody Walls over in Delaware welded it up for me. He's a classic hot rod builder and has some serious fabrication skills so I knew he was the guy to go to. He's currently sectioning a Buick and building a 32-3 Window Ford among other things. You can check out some of his work on his website and that's a great picture of me and my buddy Chris. Do you mind if I use that on Facebook?

And here's that donor car stripped of the rear qtr with you and your friend!

Some very serious skills required to even attempt a body repair of this nature

I love seeing this kind of work being accomplished

Amazing accomplishment

You know I have a soft spot for convertibles in our years

Bad Guage?

So I am troubleshooting my fuel gauge issue. I bought a new sender and tested it. It  it goes from 1-ohm (empty) to 35-ohm (full). When I test it (outside the tank), when the float is in the up (full) position it only moves the gauge to about 1/2 full. When at the bottom (empty) position the gauge shows empty. This is the same issue I have when I fill and then use the gas in the tank - the gauge never reads ore than half full. Based on what I've read on this thread it would seem like the…
