429 and TH400 rebuilder in central NJ?

Hey gang --- I'm stripping the A/C system out of my 64 Coupe deVille for rehab. I also need to repair a rust hole in the pass fender lower area. Since I am doing all of this work, I am considering pulling the driveline and getting it rebuilt. The car runs "okay", but it leaks oil *everywhere*. It has just shy of 90K on it. Untouched. Cork still in the front of the crank. It might not be a bad thing to go through it before anything really bad can happen. Car is all original and unrestored.Anyone…See More

Wiper switch refurbish

Last time I tried to use the wipers they wouldn't turn on. Finally, they did. Then I couldn't turn them back off. I had to unplug the wiper motor. The switch action does not feel as tight and definite as it should. I have it out of the car, and want to rehab it. Has anyone here done it? If so, where did you get replacements for the little rivets that hold it together?See More

Hi fellas!!

Well I recently found a guy here locally, who’s got about 8-9 63/64 Cadillacs convertible and hardtop coupes. I also recently found a 64 convertible Eldorado. Although the radiator was not leaking, nor was the car running hot, I tool out the radiator today to have it boiled out and rodded out. Then I changed the oil and filter (filter is very easy to reach with the radiator out), then the thermostat got changed.

I'll have the radiator back from the shop on Monday, and will reinstall it then.

Still having…

The front lower ends are gone but what's there looks to be in decent condition and a fair price in today's market. I have no connection, just passing it along in case it might work for someone.
