Hi Guys and Gals,
Can anyone please tell me the proper procedure for logging onto the CLC websites Self Starter Online. My general user name and password does not work and the gentleman who is responsible for this has ignored several email requests. He replied to my first question by simply asking me if I've received the email on July 1st? I have replied back to him 4 times with no response. "No I Have Not Received That Email".
Thanks all.
Lou

Which membership subscription level do you have? You have to have one of the "online" memberships to get the Self Starter online. In fact they now offer an On-Line only if you don't want to pay for print copy.
We have the CLC Application that lists the membership levels under the CLC Home Page drop down up in the header. Here is a direct link to it: http://www.cadillaclasalleclub.org/images/CLC_membership_applicatio...
If you have a membership level that includes the online Self Starter and have never received an email with username and password, You need to contact webmaster Peter Gariepy has listed in my first reply.
Looking at the app
I also did not get notified here as well that you responded to this. Very strange.
Thank you sir, however I did not receive an assigned user and password.
Louis, The log in is the same each month. It just pulls up the current issue for the month. Go back to your June email and use the same login and the July should pull up. I was reading mine yesterday online and have had it pulled up several times over the last few months.
You can always get to the Self Starter by going to the CLC website, and scrolling down the "Publications" drop down box on the left. Here is a direct link: http://cadillaclasalleclub.org/ssonline/
I just double checked and can get into my online self-starter this morning. If you cannot get into yours with your assigned username and password (which should not have changed since signing up for the online edition), contact webmaster Peter Gariepy

Also a hint for iphone uses, if you go to the CLC site with your phone (I keep a direct link icon on my phone) and pull up the current issue with the "Publications" link mentioned above, you can open the current issue up, then select the option to "open in ibooks" which saves to your iphone for future reading. In fact you can do the same thing with our monthly chapter newsletters, or any other PDF file. I was running around the Grand National with both our newsletter and the Self-Starter constantly pulled up showing people our members Cadillacs featured, and the fact their front cover was our last month's back cover. I am not sure about the Droid phones! I know my iphone had zero problem pulling up our live webcam feed but several droid users were saying their phones would not access it.

The center cap on my 63 wagon came off and ruined the valve stem. But a quick tow back to White Post Resto for a new stem and a gouge removal got us back on the road! Both wagons made it.Continue

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?

Hey everyone, has anybody done a Vintage Air AC/Heat setup in their car? I want to bypass the old vacuum setup and go with a Vintage Air Gen 2 model. Before I get started, does anyone have any experience with this? (Which model to go with, do’s and dont’s, etc.) It looks pretty involved. Any and all info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Who rebuilds original AC accumulator dryers for 1964 Cadillac? I have been on Classic auto air in Tampa FL wait list for over a year , There is one on Old air products web site that looks very similar to the original # 21-4214A but states it fits 1962 Gm cars, The one recommended for a 1964 Cadillac is half the length 21-4215A What is everyone using ? I would prefer to be as original as possible. Thanks

My son, unbeknownst to me, had all three of the horns on our 1963 Eldorado completely restored. We had recently added the Eldorado trumpet horn to the two standard horns and the sound was not very good... we had heard good ones so we knew something was not right... but there was not much we could do to get better sound from the 3 horns.
There is a restoration service called The Horn Works who my son…
