Does anyone have a pic of where the approximate location should be for the differential decal inside the trunk ?   There is a pic In one of Jason's posts but it is a close up and not too definitive  Thanks  !

Marty I added better pictures on the Rear End/Differential thread at this link: http://6364cadillac.ning.com/profiles/blogs/differentials

Note, That I have pictures of 3 1964's with the Controlled and they are in the same location as posted in the link and on my car. I did find a 63 with limited slip and it was in the same relative location, but on the left side, so perhaps 63's was on the LH side. I know even on the 64's they are in the same relative spot but have seen them up or down an inch or two. Either way no one would knock any points off at GN judging regardless or side. I will dig around my parts car pictures some more.

Thanks Jason , I wasn't that concerned abut the judging points I was more concerned of you seeing it in the wrong place and asking why I didn't ask you where it went : ).

1963 RHS A/C kick panel - photos needed

Posted by SK on June 2, 2025 at 2:20pm 2 Comments

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?

My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.

Many thanks,

-Samu

Loud air moving sound within carb with cleaner removed

Posted by Dave Fehrle on March 23, 2024 at 3:23pm 8 Comments

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
