Hi y'all....
Hoping to get some help here. I've checked my reference material and can't seem to find this info.
My 63 convertible, non tilt steering column is missing the firewall bolts on the lower support. I'd like to put some in but don't know what size they are (looks threaded in firewall).
Does anyone know what size bolt to put through there?
Here is a pic for clarity.
Thanks in advance.
Phil

Those are 5/16"-18 raised ridge head bolts, 3/4" long, usually with an external lock washer, but have seen regular ridge head with split lock washer. There is also a wide 1 1/8" fender washer below the bolt and lock washer. I can set you up with freshly gold plated hardware for $12 ($9 after discount) and ship 2-3 day Priority from NC to WA for $10 for a total of $19. If interested email me at jasonedge64@outlook.com or just shoot me a PayPal to that email address.

Could someone post front and back photos of the 1963 right-hand kick panel with A/C?
My car didn’t come with the original kick panels, so it's a bit of a mystery to me how I should cut the backing board and carpet to fit around the A/C.
Many thanks,
-Samu

While checking my Carter carb with engine running, I took the air cleaner off and there was a very loud hissing sound of air. I placed a piece of paper over the carb and it didn’t move up or down, is this normal?
